"New York Jazz Exchange"

2 years. How time flies. Well, let's catch up, I graduated with a music degree from Boston University in January. (Yay)! Finally. I went through wisdom tooth surgery, and am (ouch) still dealing with it. It zaps my energy, but I am prayerfully healing and regaining my energy back. I have played for a few artists, met a few new people, and am currently gaining and losing some along the way. My journey has been quite an interesting one. Still walking on my path and experiencing life. Still discovering what is and is not for me. Being in New York for about six years, o how I miss the culture. Well, the Universe bought a piece of New York, right back into my path. In a small tiny church in the South, New York came back. It felt great. The artistic freedom, culture, and open mindedness, all came back. I felt it. Even, recorded with New York for about four hours. This all happened because of connection. A super cool musician friend of mine, asked if a friend of his, could sit in, and record while visiting. I am always seeking to take chances for the sake of art, and creating something to spread great vibrations and healing into the universe. After I got the go ahead, I was stoked. I had so much fun jamming with this guy, and the whole crew just sitting, feeling like the whole experience is making us all better. All the things I wanted to do, the Universe is bringing it.  Everything I desired, is coming to me. I don't have to chase it, it is appearing in my path. Super grateful. We talked a while about spirituality, pain, philosophy, and other things. Sharing on that level was super cool. Grateful for the experience and looking forward to continuing to expand. Nothing like having time to exhale and breathe. Relaxing and  listening to the art of a wonderful creative I've had a chance to share and experience with. Check out www.thenyje.com. The New York Jazz Exchange. Track #3 "The Pearl" is my favorite. There are a lot of wonderful cuts on this project.  If you love jazz, you will love this album.
